Working on a rear triangulated 4 link for my crawler and I was wondering if y'all know of any trick ways to fasten my brake and air lines down my upper 1.75" dia link to the axle.
Something reliable under all conditions! Held tight and clean to the link.

Was thinking on cutting some small pcs of tubing, weld onto the top of the links, then run lines through them but then I would have to pop the ends of the lines every time I want to work on things.

BETO, without seeing them both I'll take a stab at what you'll likley find. The mounting bolts won't line up from one to the other. not a big problem as you can just mark and drill new holes to pop some bolts in, just be sure to use some big fender washers on the underside of the floor to prevent them from pulling through.

ANYBODY EVER SWAP THE BENCH SEAT FROM AN 2000 OR LATER TO A 85 CHEVY C10. WHAT MODS SHOULD I EXPECT. I FOUND ONE FOR 200. MINE IS ALL BEAT UP AND I LIKE THE WAY THE NEWER SEATS ARE MADE.

Scott, although I am not positive it appears by looking at autozone's repair guides that your motor should only use a smaller belt to eliminate driving the ac pump. However it's not legal for you to mess with the ac, just so you're aware of that. So having the rest of the parts in the engine compartment removed should really be done by a shop. If you decide to take it out yourself be sure to relieve the pressure in the system because even if it isn't working there can still be pressure in the system

HELP.... I am tired of trying to get the Air Conditioning working on my truck. 5.7 Vortec... 97 Suburban. I want to remove the whole system...!!!! Rolling down the windows works just fine for me..... What changes do I have to make to the pulley system and I know I will need a new belt too. Has anyone done this before...? Can I find the parts at a wrecking yard...?

This is my truck (Purple Haze) it's a 85 chev 1/2 ton short box it has GM 350 Crate motor with a Edelbrock RPM air-gap intake and Thunder Series AVS carb, and to help it breath a KN air filter, headers, and 3 inch exhaust, it also has a MSD distributor, plug wires, and a 6AL Ignition control, and was also lowerd 3' in front and 4' in back. as of now im looking on doing up the interior, when im done ill be looking to enter it in some car show and try it out on some races next year. I also have a 1987 GTA named (Black Ice) im working on. That one has a 383 stroker, but more on that one later when im done it so if you have any good ideas drop me a line or some pic on some good inrerior work. Thanks for reading and have a awsome day ppl.
