if things work out, im looking at the monster energy block party. i know all the parking pa**** are gone, and i wont be able to show my car, but oh well, its gunna be dirty anyway, lol...
but i want to get a ricekiller.com window sticker for my car
i agree that it is a long way for a field trip, but i sure am looking forward to getting out of the cold for a day or so...on the way to campus today, i was runnin 65 down the marsh sharp freeway, and she was pushin 80 psi oil pressure, lol
well there is a ricekiller.com meet i am going to try to swing by for a little while, but i am heading there for a mandatory class field trip...looking forward to getting my baby out on the road and showing her how sorry i am about leaving her parked for a week...
the big problem ive been having with the computer problem is that my car is a 1995, which is an OBD1 system. and i have not been able to find a do it yourself programming system or a hand held programmer for that system :( in the mean time i will attempt to try disconnecting the battery and finding the cable to disconnect the computer :) hopefully that will solve some issues...because it is running very rich with the current amount of air flow into the motor, lol...my chrome tip is almost black...
if you know of anyone who makes one, please let me know.
you said your car buddy is in the air force? thats both cool and unfortunate...cool that he is serving our great country, but unfortunate that he is not around to chill with you. i have 2 friends from high school back in Houston Area in the Marines.
the v6 is rather peppy, true. but my computer did not reset it self to recognize the custom cold air intake i put in. thus it is running very rich, and im doing good to get 22 mpg on the highway :(
what are you majoring in? if you do manage to come up to tech, you should check out a group im trying to start called super street techsans. im attempting to start a new student organization interested in an occasional cruise, people interested in talking about cars.
Chiseum, I really appreciate your prompt reply. I will definitely think about what you wrote and do some research on your suggestions. All the suggestions you made can be applied at the same time? I do have another question. Can a supercharger and a turbocharger be utilized at the same time? I saw a double or was it dual turbocharger for the Challenger. It is installed in the rear of the vehicle while I believe the supercharger is in the front. Correct me if I am incorrect. Thank you again for your time and consideration. Have a great day!
Thanks Chiseaum, he told me they only made 25 of these motors, I just wondered why they are not listed in any of the old books from 1967, I am going to go back through the motor and just wondering how much it could be worth, would love to drop it into a GTO but will probably just sell it to someone who wants a rare and fast motor. Mike
Thanks but this motor came out of a 67 Catalina that I owned for twenty years, ran the no# on the block witch you can see the no# in my photos and there is no record of this motor and these no# are not in any books any were, was told by the old guy that I purchased the car from that this car had a 400/410 test motor in it that he purchased off the showroom floor at the Pontiac dealer he worked for in 1967, I rebuilt the motor since then and my buddy at the machine shop that did my machine work on this motor that he had never seen one like this. thanks Mike
Hi! Just added you as a friend! How do you know I got Arthur Hoges attention? How do I add him as a friend? I'm not familiar with the navigation here yet!
