A Nova.... preferably beat to poop. Just need it to run relatively nice. I want something i can clean up and eventually take down to raceway... just for the fun of goin down the strip. If anyone sees one let me know!!!!

Holy cow what a sweet sound

i fired the brand new engine today and holy s*** does it sound great. its got a 268s comp cam in with solid lifters and roller vortec heads with 58cc chambers 185 runners with 30 thou over bore and flat top pistons. should be around 10:1 compression and she sounds nice with the straight pipes on her. and i also have a 250 shot of nos on her to so i cant wait to see how much hp and torque i have at the rear wheels. with and without the nos.

The specs

Basic info on my truck

Its a 64 half ton long bed stepside

I have rebuilt the front end of the truck tie rods ball joints shocks complete wheel cylenders from the drums back, I have not done any of the body work or the paint work that is currently showing on the truck it came like that other then the stepside bed i got lucky and found another 64 chevy truck with this and i thought it would look better and stand out from all the short beds and the fleetsides. trying to get prime tool for sbc

going to have to wait till monday now to be able to fire the motor. cause i cant get a prime tool for a sbc till then. but it will be nice to get it up and running. i cant wait to see how she runs.

On my way home

I'm on my way home with my 2006 Dodge Powerwagon. She's got a 12 inch lift with 38s under her. We usually drive on the frozen ocean but this year the rolligons have came in from Prudhoe Bay and made a trail to Barrow, Alaska, where I live.

12 above out there - we should be fine. Hope to see some wildlife on the way like, musk ox, caribou, polar bears, foxes, wolves, wolverines....…

waiting for my new pictures to up load

i just up loaded 20+ new pictures just waiting to be aproved and then everybody can see them. as soon as i can get her fired the car and everything is broke in im going to get her dynod and i will post rwhp and torque numbers here as well. and hopfully she'll be up there. but will see. if not then i have the 250 shot of NOS i can use. and if i dont use that i am looking at getting a procharger to add.`

been working like crazy on the new motor

its been 3 weeks now since my old motor blow up and now i have 3/4 of my new motor put together. so im getting real happy. im going over everything 2-3 times to make sure everything is done right. i hope to be able to fire the motor today but will see. if not i should be ready to go on monday. i just need a few more small little parts like a oil pressure line but its got to be Steel braided cause the plastic s*** just dont cut it anymore. and i need a few more bolts and need to get rid the… Continue
