What started out as a quick "get r on the road" weekend project has now turned into a full blown street rod project. First order of business was to ditch the straight six and two speed for an old school 327 and a turbo 350.
The front steering and suspension has been replaced with tubular A arms and a mini subframe kit from CPP as well as a rack and pinion conversion from Church boys racing. She now sports four wheel disk brakes as well.
There was no interior in it either… Continue

In order for me to really portray the complete idea with what Im about to share, I would need to start the story almost 10 years in the past, when I began driving. But, I am gonna skip past all of this and rely on current events to get my point across.
Police. "Serve and protect." Ya right! I really have to be blunt when I say this. POLICE DO NOT SERVE AND PROTECT citizens. They serve and protect the government. Now, Im not much of a conspiracy theorist, but I must say that some of… Continue

Remember that rusty old ‘48 Chevy in a previous blog?
I kept after the dealer for an amount to buy it and one day I must have worn him down...either that or he was tired of this damn kid askin’.
It was close to my 15th birthday and I had just finished mowing the lawn of the old bitty who was the postmaster in town, when I noticed Paul Geyer, or“PG” as everyone called him, standing in front of his Chevy dealership across the street, wearing his usual bright yellow plaid pants, shiny… Continue

Warmer weather is finally getting here.
Sunday was a real nice day out. So I took the '06 LTZ Monte out for a 15 mile cruise. Felt nice to be in the car again.
I did get a message from OnStar there was another problem with their battery. So back to the dealership I go.
(I think I've put close to 300 miles driving back and forth to the dealer getting issues with this car looked at)
The '86 Monte and '57s will have to set for now. Partially thanks to the… Continue

I'm 32 live in Perry Michigan. My car is a 1984 Camaro. The engine is a LQ4 6L. I've added a Comp cams, camshaft, Promag roller rockers, and timing set. Also GMPP carb intake, stainless works headers, 825 MightyDemon carb, MSD ignition, and NOS Cheater system. Auto Meter gauges Lets me know how shes running. For a Trans it has a th350, 4000 stall, cheetah manual valve body, and a B&M megashifter makes it shift. I've tricked the rear end out with Moser Axles, and spool with a richmond 373… Continue

we are starting out with a 1957 chevy 4 door and a donor body for some rust issues. The plan for this chev is to turn it into a 2 door roadster. since i always wanted a convertible and all i could afford was a 4 door i figured this was the way to go, the 4 doors are in real need of some floor and rocker work so while we are changing this stuff I figured i can build what i always wanted. first step is to bend up some rockers at the local shop, wish me luck i have never done this before

This 1970 Plymouth Duster is a story about a car that’s been passed down from one generation to the next. Original owner Skip Causey bought it and raced it for several years. Then it sat in the backyard under a tarp for almost ten years! His son Chuck, a former Army helicopter mechanic decided to restore it. With his Dad’s help along with his friends and family, he spent the next ten years… Continue

Hey all, I've owned my 96 ZJ for about 8 years. It started as my wife's ride until I sold my truck and bought her a mini van.
Since it became my daily driver I wanted to make it Daddies Jeep!
New wheels, 2 1/2 lift with 31/10.5....soon to have a home built roof rack with lights and cb anntena. I want to add a custom safari type of bumper to the front and nerf bars.
I don't take it to rough off road'n since it is my daily driver. But I like having the option that it is campible if… Continue

I dropped the camera, so no pics yet. But I finished the interior work. I made one major design change that turned out to be for the better. On the dash, just in front of the instrument panel, I put in LED's that scan like K.I.T.T. (Knight Industries Three Thousand, the newest one). Just like the new K.I.T.T. these are split into two seperate segments that scan IN towards each other and then OUT away from one another. Only they are blue.
