I have never really blogged before so, I guess I'll join the modern age and try it. This will probably take a while 'cus I can't type any faster then a "hunt and peck" mode. My daughter says I should enter my Jeep in the Powerblock Makeover contest. It definitely needs a makeover! With the help of my friends, I've started my Jeep YJ project that I think I'll call "Rusty to Rugged, Building the Wrescue Wrangler."
I started with what diehard Jeepers shun, an '87 YJ. OK, it didn't…Continue
My Car is an '81 Z28 Camaro. It was bought new by my uncle. It has never seen snow. I had a passion for the car for as long as I can remember. I kept bugging my uncle year after year that when he wanted to part with car to give me a call. He came to me and said he wanted a quad like dads. Being a young dumb teenager I tried to convince dad to trade him his quad for the car then he could sell my snowmobile to buy a new quad....Good idea, so I thought. A year later dad shows up in the…Continue

I would dearly love to have you help my husband finish his 1935 Plymouth. We drove all the way from our home here in Brandenburg, KY to Bristol, TN to pick it up and got most of the parts with it. The former owner did not want to part with it but had to because he was moving. My husband and his sons have been doing some of the work themselves and it has come a ways. There is still so much to do that I fear he will not get it finnished so that we can have…Continue
It was a typical warm summer day in 1965. I was young, 22 years old, had the car but not the girl. The car was a 1965 Pontiac GTO, Mayfair Maize in color with black interior, 3x2’s and 4-speed. So with many thoughts swirling I dialed the number for a neighbor of a second cousin, who had been trying for months for me to meet Nancy. It was rather late in the afternoon, 4:30 pm, and after a very brief conservation and without ever having met eye-to-eye, Nancy said yes to a 7:30 pm date. …Continue

I'm starting this blog as a virtual log for any progress that is made on the vehicle. To start off, I'd like to give a little bit of history about the vehicle and why I have the desire to fully restore this vehicle.
Originally the vehicle came from Wichita, Kansas. My grandpa had brought this car back on his way through to Missouri. My grandpa would drive this…Continue

I've been watching powerblock tv since it debuted, it's still the best innovative show on the tube.
Back in '97 I had a knee replacement, because of complications I was forced to retire in 00. In 01 I lost my Left leg above the knee, my wife left me and my dog died. In 05 I had my Right knee replaced because of pain, in '08 they took my Right leg above the…Continue
