- Actually. I'd look at a 302V8 for your Bronco. It will be cheaper to build to whatever power level that you want. It will also be stressed less than any V6. If you are 'bucks up' add a stroker kit and get 347 CI. The 351 will be a little wider & longer, making it a tighter fit. Of course, the transmission may be a sticky problem. I don't know what fits what in regard to a 4x4 conversion. TransDapt may have the info. I don't exactly know the web address but 'google' does.
