after all going to stock is better
after failing to try to get my bowties to look good and work i finnaly decided after much complaining to myself that i need to bring the tailights back to stock except im going to use the 67 camaro style instead I have advice for anyone doing custom work on there own DONT lol unless you have the right tools to do this and know how. i do allright but after the paint on the car and not getting everything lined up right i just ruined the tailghts area and now i have to rework them oh well sucks to… Continue

- Nice Camaro, I have a mentor that is in his sixties and he has owned his 68 Rally Sport since 1971. He told me the history about his car,,,,when he bought it, it had been in an accident and he had to put a new front end on it and replace the left Quarter panel. He also went from the hide-away head lights to the exposed because he had a hard time in 71 finding a grill in decent shape. I told him that if he one day needs to find it a good home for it I would buy it off of him. I would restore it though, he has painted the car white and it has a cool 70's mural painted all over it but the car is tired and it needs to be redone anyway. I would also try to find a 327 to put back in it instead of the 287 he has in it now and paint it the origional colour and replace the hide away head lights.

- this is my 68 camaro that i started to restore in august of 2007 i replaced every piece of tin known to man in this car and wow what a job this has been. i have never done any body work until now
