"It's a bueaty but it needs something diff. to be called a Chevelle. Please listen to us GM and be careful when using that name it is special to many of us! Keep it affordable with one eye on performance and the other on economy."

Well it's good to hear that we do still make some stuff here and not only assemble foreign made parts. Thanks again for your comments and I do appreciate your views and the opinions of everyone who does share their input on these subjects we all bring up for discussion on here. Yes the swap meets are a heaven sent blessing to us who live on tight budgets and don't have the big bucks to invest in to our projects. Thanks again an feel free to surf my page/blogs anytime.

Hey Bob! Thanks for your comments on my blog and for taking the time to read it. Your page is pretty cool and yes. We all are in the same boat with projects on hand but no money to do them. "SUCKS!" I rescued a Thunderbird from being sent to the wreckers but have no money on hand presently to fix it up. Meanwhile it sits in my driveway next to a Mustang Mach-1 and a Pontiac Tempest! Oh well...some day right? Thanks again and good luck with your own.

Hey Bob- Sorry I didn't get back to ya sooner. I've been down with my back and having tests done on my heart (which is all good, by the way) for the last two weeks. I'm not sure what the differences in the 74 vs 75 floor pans. I would think not much, especially in the are of kick pans (at feet). You may just have to purchase one and see if they can be made to work. The only drawback to making one yourself out of sheet metal is that you will not have the ribs for added strength
