The old Dodge is look much like she does now. But with a 91 S10 frame and V8 under the hood. The final outcome is an old farm truck, dents, patina and all - but with the modern running gear hiding underneath. The cab is mounted, the engine will be in this weekend, and it should be rolling if not running by spring. The fit is so good - it looks like the s10 design was stolen from the early Dodges. The plan is to have it done for Super Run Saskatoon 2011 - which is a 7 hour trip from here, but we turn it into a 2 day cruise as we pick up other clubs along the way... Hope that lets you know what we're doing to the old Dodge.

My wife asked me how long she would have to put up with me till I got the 67 done. I told her I would have it to paint in 6 months. She laughed at me but I worked on it every spare minute I had. It seemed like I had 20 little projects going on at the same time, hell my UPS driver took his lunch just to check on the car since he was here almost everyday with something for it.
I did all the work myself from the ground up except for the paint. I really didnt know anything about the PPG deltron and the urethane clear coat so I hand blocked it all out for him and he sprayed it and cut it in for me. In all I was driving it 7 months after I started it.

Thanks for the compliment on the 67. My son still lives in Billings and he said it hitting them off and on with the snow. I have been to Borries once and to tell you the truth i didnt understand the brown sauce,I thought I ordered the italian sauce. Infact I even asked my ex- inlaws if we were at the right place. Maybe thats why I got divorced... LOL

Nice work. I see you are from Great Falls. I lived in Red Lodge for 40 years before moving to a little warmer climate. Is Borries resturant in Black Eagle still serving up great Italian food?
