Hey Bro,
Thanks for trying. I just checked it myself and there's two pic of it on there now. One, at the gas station behind my sons blue Dodge truck, and one in my front yard with all of the jeeps together. No hurry when ever you get the chance.

Hey Man !
I finally towed my old 46 "Flatty" from my home town of Mobile,AL. I now live in Albertville, AL thats 5-6 hours north of Mobile. I dont know why Im rambling. Any way go to my page and check it out. This is the jeep I've been talking about running the 4.3L V-6. Now I'm just thinking about using the body only. The frame is cracked all the way through in one spot. Im thinking about just cuttin down a YJ frame and making it work. Thats a way better, stronger frame.

I'm using the skins off the Flatty to build a buggy. 5.3L/700R4/Atlas 3.8 2 speed, front 3 link, rear 4 link and a rollcage.

Thanks for checking out my rig
This is my 1953 M38A1 jeep that I picked up about 6 years ago. It started out with a chevy 305 small block, dana 27 front diff and a dana 44 rear. The T18 tranny and a spicer 18 t case worked ok with the 33 MT baja claws. Now it rides on 36inch tsl, SX tires and procomp wheels
After about 300 hours and lots of new parts I came up with the "Jeephybrid".
I have stretched out the wheelbase 7 inches, 1 in the front and 6 in the back, a set of dana 44 axles were fitted with lockers and 4.11 gears. The front knuckles were turned 9 degrees and custom driveshafts were made to accomidate the extra length in wheelbase. After I blew up the spicer 18 I changed it out for a dana 20,
I picked up a pipe bender and made my own fenders, bumpers and other parts that make my rig one of a kind. I have also custom made rocksliders. At the moment there is a new 350 being put together for my rig .
Maybe later dana 60 for the front and a 14 bolt for the rear an some bigger rubber, Tcase and the list goes on and on. Always a work in progress, always new options to try out.

as soon as I can I will try and get a bunch of my build pics on to this site but for now you can find them at http://www.cardomain.com/ride/2562379
