Most of the ones you do see around my area are sitting on 20s with hydros and a stereo YOU can probably hear in Oklahoma. They have lame motors and don't know what they can get out of them if they are decent. And of coarse they don't race because they paid more for their paint job and hydros than the rest of the car. I had the chance to drive an old Impala with no power and just the automatic, and that is hard! One time is all I could handle. In my high school auto shop my teacher had an early '80s 1-ton dually that was broke down in a bay that we needed and a few of us had to push it. I thought I was getting lucky steering, but that was a workout from hell. If a truck guy gives you any bad looks for taking that motor ask him if he's jealous!

I told you my friend helped me and he wasn't worried about the EPA coming to see us do our work. Yeah they are considered granny cars even though they put V-8s in them. And once you upgrade to a better motor you got those guys every time.
