I was thinking about buy 1998 nissan Frontier I know it share the same engine as the 240sx KA24DE but can I use the ecu from one?

'91 Dodge Dakota 4X4 5.2L
I am starting to work on my truck slowly. Well I looked into maybe selling it because the transmission went on it and I look all over in the junkyards to find one and no-one has one or were so faraway that it was not worth it. The only problem of selling it is that I will get maybe $200-300 for it. Not worth selling. So I looked into fixing it and making a nice 4x4 trail truck and if I never finish it I have not lost anything really, but would have learned a lot. But I really like the truck for some strange reason. I just started looking into it and if anyone can give me any ideas or advice, I would be more then glad to hear them. I have 3 junkyards around me and I would like to get as much as I can from them.
