i live in idaho the climate is relativly dry so rust doesn't get too bad the paint was really faded the pics ihave are after i buffed the piss out of it.
have you managed to find a first gen cougar? they are getting very hard to find. mine is almost running, 5.0 HO with full computer control, FMS X303 cam, custom heads, custom headers, AOD, 9 in w/ triangulated four link and airbags, coil over strut and rack an pinion out front, 14 in rotors on front, 11 in out back, 17x9 front 17x11 rear shelby classics by American Racing, lowered at all four corners
After 30yrs in MN, retired & moved back to Sioux City, IA to help my ailing Mother(she is doing good) hooked up with local car guys...do a lot of cruise-ins and a couple of shows about the size of Owatanna, just not the same as MN...missed BTT50's last year and Goodguys due to gas prices, doubt will make them this year either(economy & limited income)
Now that you mentioned the old colors of your coupe, and if my old memory is correct...I think we were always in the same class at the Albert Lea car show (Eddie Cochran weekend) There is another one like my wifes' coupe in Iowa although his sits higher in the rear and license plate reads..GodsRod
