I love all the H/O's. My personal opinon as the best looking H/O is the 72 in the cutlass supreme body with the gold reflective stripes & the W25 Ram Air Hood.

Dylan, 400 sbp are pretty awesome negines but with the age of the motor and pontiac's intrinsic differences from the rest of the GM line up parts and machine work are readily available but getting more expensive due to the work becoming more of a niche field. The newer LS and specifiacally the LQ92 which is a iron block motor with many similarities to the aluminum LS1-6 motors are REAL cheap and gain alot more horse and reliability. HP tv just did a 500++hp build for under $3000 i believe. These are the beefier motors that the 1 ton trucks and 3/4 ton suburbans use and depending on the year are more than what you would need and still give you great reliability and mileage. The 2004 LQ6 is rated at 374hp woth 423 foot pounds of torque and would really bring your Bird to life! The basics are similar to the LS-2 and you need the engine management cpu but is attainable with the late model totalled vehicles that have the optional wiring/cpu harnesses included. Have fun and check out my latest boat project sporting a fresh 361 sbc replacement under the old 307's clothing. It will blow the big block 24 foot go fast boats out of the water! Kevin.

D man, finally got ur ride, congrats. I assume a 305 as it has t-tops? A good engine to start with a young driver. Get it reliable/dependable and enjoy it! Do not throw any money into that motor for performance as it would be cheaper and more result oriented to move to a crate performance 350 in the future! But it is definately a styling' car and pontiacs always had just a little more umpf and growl then the bowties! K&N filter and a set of Flowmaster super 40's will wake it up and get as much performance increase as the stock motor can handle. You will have a constant smile on your face as you cruise town thoug! Congradulations and keep it clean and styling! Kevin. Hey, check out my page as I finally got a video up of the 468 starting up and coming to life, even though it shows a set of Lightning seats it soon shows a GMC come to life!
