starting the 57
we are starting out with a 1957 chevy 4 door and a donor body for some rust issues. The plan for this chev is to turn it into a 2 door roadster. since i always wanted a convertible and all i could afford was a 4 door i figured this was the way to go, the 4 doors are in real need of some floor and rocker work so while we are changing this stuff I figured i can build what i always wanted. first step is to bend up some rockers at the local shop, wish me luck i have never done this before

- Hey Dizzy haven't spoken to you in awhile. Well I guess you could say that my woody is now underway as I got my first part for it in the mail the other day. The brake lever!!, Guess got to get started somewhere. A job came through and that means that I will be getting some 2x4 so that I can get started on building my chassis. Found out about a swapmeet here in Ottawa at the Rideau/Carlton Raceway on May 30 if you are interested, or for that matter any one else. Maybe see you there, well talk to you later. Hounddog

- About your 57 what are you planning on doing with it as to turning into a 2-door roadster? Is your plan to shorten the frame or are you planning on making those front doors longer.
