geno the problem with 2 into 1 back out to 2 is u lose velocity there for losing hp the kit really wasnt that bad and with some crome tips and a little tweeking it was worth the noticeable hp gains by haveing true duals

Sound good. Is the track open all year? I'm near Englishtown and it shuts down here in a couple of weeks, I think.

The adapter plate is also a good idea. I do have a torker intake just sitting around. I wonder if a thinner adapter plate is made so I could use the spacer as well and have it all fit under the hood. I doubt it though. I have to get the exhaust, and heads on and a cam in first though. where do you race your car... At Moroso?

I saw the exhaust pics. It looks good. I'm going to try it and see if I can do the same with mine.

I found a site that has info on modifying the stock TBI. I also just ordered a TBI spacer, headers and a B&M mega shifter. I'll probably look for a stock Tbi on ebay and try to modify it ,so I have mine to fall back on. I've also got some center bolt aluminum heads, but I have to get them milled. Now I just have to look for a good cam and roller rockers.

The cover is from Spectre and I just added the chrome pipes and rubber connectors (everything from Pepboys) and then connected to the air intake off a 6 cyl efi car,I had to use the filler, filters and upper intake box. I also cut out the bottom under the filters and then cut holes in the air dam that directs air to the radiator so cold air will get in. I just have to run either pipe or hose down behind my fog lights so it will force more air in...Ill send you some pics as soon as I take them

Did you convert your camaro to carb or is that a TBI under the air cleaner? Trying to decide if I want to convert mine or not.
