hey there. i finally have a minute 2 look at your pics of your imp. when u get serious about converting to rack and pinion call me @ 479-502-3379 or email fatdad1@ymail.com you have to start off by trimming and boxing the front of the crossmember. it is easier and a WHOLE lot cheaper than a kit. i assume that if your car is not a front disc car u would like it 2 b? also easy if you have a salvage yard close by

thanks man, it drives fine, i'll do 70, 75 down the highway and its fine. the only time it sucks is when a tractor trailer goes by ya it will push you a little bit. but other than that, it drives better than what it does stock. of course you have flat spots in the tires at first if its been sitting, but they warm up quick.
