1967 Tempest specs & History.

This car started out as a bone stock example of one of Pontiacs budget cars. The Tempest was the bottom line, no frills mid sized car for Pontiac in 1967. It is a post car which makes it a really solid feel. None of that window rattle and wind noise that is often associated with hard top cars. Man, all of those Ponchos make me miss my '77 T/A, Smokey and the Bandit clone. Had an intake, headers, better cam and went quite well. I loved beating up 350 Corvettes with it. I also took out a '68 383 Road Runner that belonged to a friend. He thought it was fast. Turned out he was mistaken. Those Pontiac drags look GREAT. Did you run your car there ???
