Here's a pic of mine at the track.
The ls1 is an aluminum block 5.7l, and the lq4 is an iron block 6.0l. The ls1 comes mostly in cars, and the ld4 comes in trucks/suvs.

99 Silverado rcsb 4x4 forged 6.0l heads/cam built tranny 3.73 rear with lsd.
When I bought the truck it was a totally stock, 99 Silverado 4x4 with a 4.8l. It has the stock 3.73 rear gears with the g80 lsd. I started off with BFG 265/75/16 all terrain tires, step bars, and a billet grill. Then I added my stereo system from my old truck, Eclipse cd player, Phoenix gold ti500.4 4 channel amp, MBQuarts Q-line components for the front, and Discus 4x6 for the rear. My bass comes from a Rockford Fosgate power1501bd sub amp, with 2 Kicker 10" l5 subs in custom made boxes.
