not sure its a metalflake orange. its my friends car he bought it as an unfinished project so ive been giving him a hand.
like the color what is it called and who makes it
the upper bracket should be a long curved arm that bolts to the water pump.we picked up this bracket on e bay .i dont know if the manifold is wrong or the bracket.if the manifold had the bolt holes on the side this would be a no brainer

- I need more info. on that 283. where are you installing the alt? right or left? Headers? V belt or serpentine? Long waterpump or short? I have pictures of my setup on my page. Go check it out if you like? mine is short waterpump, left hand side with headers.

- well that good that you can drive your 57. I'm not allowed to drive the 72 but I just has the best of time workin and re-building the that bad ass 350. I can't drive cause I'z got seizures so that really sucks. I've been offer $5,000 for the 72 but I just can't let the Chevy go, cause damm do i love to work on it. it just really sucks that everything is so damm expensive you really can't afford what you want to put on your ride like I do for this one so much plans and dreams I've got of the nova just to damm hard to make them come true.

- Well that really sucks, sounds like a whole lot of damage happened to the beauty. so from what i read the the fender and hood was what really got fucked up? Not intrested in a major cam just some that will give it its nice tune and its power. The 72 got so much more to be done to it. more then what has. and the same thing here not a perfect car and probably never will but damm is she fun to drive. Delete Comment
