I have a 1995 k2500. I'm sure the catalytic converter is out. How would you replace it? I'm thinking of cutting it out and then fuse welding a new one in its place. Any help would be appreciated. Thank you
I haven't been on here much but thanks for the reply on he recall issue I posted, I did take it to another dealer and They took care of me,Thanks again, Dan
my son and I did it all, including the paint. I like to think it turned out pretty good. it's gone now and were on to a new project. thanks for the compliment your truck is looking great by the way
Thanks for the info. I talked to the builder of this tranny and he says a just put a lot of power to it. I had great traction and a hard shift. Anyways, there going to send me there best tranny free of charge. It will handle 800+. This is reassuring to me because I'm going to put a 100shot to overcome the rpm drop.
Whats up man? Ok I switched to a 700r4 tranny rated at 575hp. It has a 2500 stall and a violent shift-kit. I made three passes on the tranny and they were great. On the forth pass the tranny shifted from2-3 and then my rpms went wild. Now I only have P,R,N it will not engage into D,D,3,2,1
Well, it definatley shows that you have invested all that blood, sweat and cash! I always thought tha lifted duallies were awesome looking. I think a lot of people shy away from them due to the extra tire expense and stuff. I had thought for awhile about doing a conversion to my 05 1500 4x4, I probably wont though. It would be kind of a difficult expense to justify since I don't haul very much and all. Hope all is well there with you. I am going to send you a freind request. Do with that what you choose ;) Take care and again, that is a sweet looking truck bud!!
