in british columbia they don't care that much about if you have all the proper emission controls on a older truck like mine when i got the truck all that was lwft of the controls was the disconected egr valve an i took it off and blocked off the hole
Be very careful when you mess with removing an EGR/Emissions air pump as the local state and federal emissions are , well you know. I burnt up a good set of exhaust valves on one due to detonation because of the removal of these parts. There is an...

Hi, sory about the lateness of this reply, but I haven't signed in for a looooong time. But yeah I was thinking of doing a general lee paint job on my car but it would stick out too much. But I still might go with the orange paint...thanks for the comment
lol ya whats that saying if ya want something done right you have to do it yourself; ya I'm looking to re-locate the tank soon I just gotta make a decision as to how I want to do it I've found a few threads on it on 67-72chevytrucks.com
Mine was orig diesel with out any vacuum so they used the hydro. 80-84 with big block also uses the hydro so was unsure if the non-booster really worked for the heavier trucks. A buddy has 4 wheel disk on vacuum with a big big block and I stop at least 6-8 trucks b4 he does. Thanks for the info, trucks way a minimum of 7k pounds!
Andrew, reminds me of my truck when I first got it and had ALL kinda dreams on how to fix it up. Money decided most of the results but am happy with it! How does that thing stop with the big block and no HydraBoost?
