Well I got to race at Irwindale speedway today. What a blast. Cars are Chevy platform with around 500 hp and 2,500 lbs so they move pretty darn good. I'm in the 48 car.
1/2 mile oval and speeds up to about 130 mph. And I got to pass a bunch of folks on the track. Definitely recommend it…

Well I finally got the 69 convertible on the road. Way too many days spent troubleshooting the brakes. After doing everything possible at least twice, we started looking at the line (which was brand new) to see if it was crimped or pinched somewhere. this is where it gets really funny. the guy that installed the brake line apparently had some issue with fluid leaking or something as he was putting it in. Botton line is we got the light to go out by alternating the bleeding between the front and rear brakes. CPP says you should hear a pop when the valve repositions correctly but we never did. I plan to take it out for a quick drive tomorrow. It should be 77 and sunny. Nice. We will see if we got this…
