This my newest daily driver. I just bought it on 11-3-09. It is a 1992 Jeep Wrangler Sport. This is the first Jeep that I have ever owned before. I traded my 5.0L for it. I liked the Mustang, but in the short time that I have had the Jeep I really love it. It is easy to work on and there is alot of stuff that I can do to it. This is the first time that I bought a ride that i have really loved. Not just to drive but to also work on and improve.

looking to pick up a styling bar from mustangs unlimited and then hopefully a set of 95 cobra r rims (17x9). im thinking about lowering it a tiny bit but im not sure if its a good idea, we have a lot of speedbumps around here and the car already rubs when we go over one. gonna get a set of ultra clear headlights too.

hi tony check out jeeptechpages.com it is a good way to decide what you want to do. t-5 is not the best trany you could pick . but any ways it will give you something to start a plan. enjoy hope this helps

looked it up you should have a AX-15 trany in it it is listed as a light duty irany, but that is what they sead about mine and i have not had any trouble yet.knock on wood. i don,t think they will make much for v8 conversion kits for that trany

yes advancing timing will but thier isn't as much thier to get out of it .the engine i started out with was a chevy 4cyl some one built it steel crank cam four barel it was wound right up.but it cracked a cyl wall and broke a piston skirt. the guy who built it put a lot of money in it.and would of been better spent on a v8.
does yours have a t-5 trany in it?if so you can get a chevy bellhousing to fit it.i was lucky to find the one i did in a jeep salavge yard.it was the only one they had.

hi tony the engine you have is a six cyl. try setting advanceing timing 4 or 5 degres to 0 the computer will bring it back if it has to by using the knock sensor you will find you will get more power out of it .play with it till you find the spot you like. and if you don't you can allways put it back

yes its a borge-warner. T-5 its a long story but short version 8hrs out with the four cyl.and in with the new.but i had to make a plate to mount the motor mounts 6"x7"x9/16 drilled and taped 5 holes then atache to the frame steeel mounts{thier are pictures of them} from thinking them up to making them add two days. the jeep was off the road for a wile so i could work on it when i wanted to. or have the time to. two years after i rolled it.i used a trans am that got hit by a tree for engine and other parts computer raiderator air cleaner even put the strearing wheel on it.

not for the one i have,it came stock with a chevy 4 cylender so the bellhouslng are the same, i made my own engine mounts, and used a radeator out of a transAm. hade to make mounts for it. and i bought a wiring harness and speed sensor for it. it was around $550. you have more room to work with in yours.is yours auto or manule trans ? they sell adapters kets for jeeps Novac and advance adapters are a few look through my pictures and see what i have done so far.
