Hello all! My name is Dennis. I'm a former mechanic from Colorado. I have a wife and 4 step kids. We own several vehicles and motorcycles. I have a 2002 Ford F-150 Boss 5.4 build by L.A. West out of Indiana (unfortunately they went bankrupt and no longer in business). I also have a 1970 Mustang that I owned since high school. Car used to be my mom's car. When she got it, it had a 351 that only ran on 7 cylinders, but it would still smoke the tires! My dad dropped in a 302 and that was the engine when I got it. While I was still dating my wife, she drove a 74 LTD. Had it at the shop I worked at to get a radiator fixed. Guys at the shop kept telling me we needed to pull the 429 out of the LTD to put in my Mustang. After a couple hours of contemplating the project I called home, "Do what you wanna do." My car now has a 429! I take it out drag racing on occasion but with a stock engine, high altitude, and weighing almost 3600 lbs my best time is 15.4 seconds in a 1/4 mile. I also have two Honda Magna motorcycles. V4 power! 700cc which is faster than most Harleys with twice the engine size. Feel free to drop me a line.

thanks for the comment i got the headers from fordpowertrain.com they were not cheap but they fit perfect. the guy builds them as they are ordered and in a car, not a jig. they went right in without even using a hammer thank god. of course i found out after that if you use boss 429 shocktowers you will gain about 1-2 inches on each side. thanks again. was that a picture of the car you put the 429 in and do you still have it?
