Scott read your question in the trucks section about taking out your airconditioning GM and the aftermarket makes a peice that if you take out the compresser it bolts right in place with a dummy pully to take place off compresser no belt change neaded. I have done this many times on a few gm,s I have had..I got my last from carquest or UAP...Godd luck hope I helped

i looked in my book stock adjusting setting is 1 3/8" from the flat on the bar to the bottom of the head of the bolt. if you go too far you might have to have a alinement on the front end.

wow , yours certainly gave you some issues. thats unfortunate. by the sounds of the tranny ur gettin, im sure that wont be the issue anymore..lol. you should replace the oil pump and sending unit while u got the tranny out... for good measure ye know.. and the lift sounds good just dont crank em all the way, it'll cause the back end to sag prematurely.. ive gone thru 2 sets of leaves. one with add a leefs too. if u can stay away from blocks.. ur springs hate them.. so if u can grab older super duty springs or get a set made .. it;'l be def worth the extra 100 bucks
