I gotta question for ya. how much hp & torque do you think my 4.0L jeep motor would make if only did 4.2 crank & connecting rod swap and left everthing else stock. Or is that even possible? I mean leave stock fuel system, no up graded ...
Hey Smoke. That 4.0 is a pretty awsome little inline 6 in its own regard and there are a few stroker kits out there for it but it's an upgrade thats designed to draw more air/fuel mixture into the combustion chamber. Your stock top end may actually give you less HP with that mod so why do you want to start there? The place to start is with intake induction and exhaust (cold air intake, carb or injectors cam and headers etc)
