Hey, guys- I just dropped in a "spy photo" of RedSled. I've been busy in the booth laying down a crapload of red! I'm spraying the fenders and other smaller parts right now. Tomorrow I'll be spraying some small graphics on the quarters. She's look...
On the bright side, your car uses rear coil springs and not leaf springs. That'll make it WAY easier to put bags on it. Your best bet, as far as ease of installation goes, is use Air Ride's stuff. We've used it quite a bit on projects around here,...
Actually, I have a bottle of Real at home. Right beside the 1942 and the standard anejo. For the difference in price, I like the 1942. The Real is definately some of the best tequila I've tasted, but damn it's pricey! As for the Trans-Am, it's cur...
Alright, here's what happened. And I didn't have to torch anybody. The host program for My Powerblock is NING or something like that, and they automatically put that app up on all of their sites. Those sites include everything from Facebook to Mat...
Holy crap... I just checked out what you guys are talking about. I'm embarrassed and humiliated! I'm on my way up front right now to catch the responsible party on fire.
Guys- Just let me say that being a part of the gearhead nation makes me proud as hell. The high-dollar builds and big companies drive the industry and give everyone cool ideas, and remember... All those used parts that we buy at the swap meets? So...
I could try, but I doubt it. It's not anywhere close to a show truck, I built it to DRIVE!!! I'll see if maybe sometime this season we can sneak a shot of it into the show somewhere. I drive it to work once in awhile, so it might happen...
Thanks ...
Not too often. It has custom fenderwell headers with 1 7/8 primaries, 3" exhaust and it exits out the sides right in front of the 31X18.5 Mickey Thompson tires. It rattles the windows in other cars! It's more of a street bruiser with the 700R in i...
Below are a couple pics taken on a road trip. Universal studios is a blast! The pic below was taken in front of Kal Koncepts, an airbrush studio in Bakersfield CA which is owned by Craig Fraser (standing next to me). The gal pointing at the scoop ...
Sheldon- In the pic, I'm driving my '88 S-10. It's running stock front suspension with drop spindles, an Alston 4-link rear clip suspending a FAB-9 rear end and 4.11 gears. The engine is a 408 with hogged-out Dart Pro-1 series aluminum heads and a...

Hey Rick. Goodmorning.. ( cute baby ) thank you for your help in the solving of the case of the "funny tranny!! " hey i was wondering "if you can"direct me in the way to a good used tranny, a low buck rebuild trannny, or just plain a cheap "HOMIE HOOK-UP" NEW Transmission. ( CHEVY TH 350 and a 2,300-2,500 stall converter pacakage?) my car is sitting there pretty sad!! HELPPPPP
Rick,
I was wondering if you make it out much for the drag races? I will be in your neighborhood in October in Memphis for the NHRA races there. Since Matco Tools is a major sponsor of Powerblock, I didnt know if you get invites to the races and their hospitality tent at Antron Brown's pit. I will be there at the tent as I have a great Matco distribrutor who is also a good friend that gets us in there. It would be an honor to meet you and maybe even learn a few things from you. I doubt i could become a master at the art of painting like you are, but I am sure you could get me a lot better with advice. I am very good with electrical if you ever want any help there though! I will be adding more pics on my page of cars I have done for others soon if you want to check it out!
