I have been into 4 wheeling for over 20 years. I didn't get seriously until I got my 87 YJ in 2002. I build anything that I possibly can. I have a fairly good shop at the house. I was an ASE certified Master Mechanic before I started as a professional firefighter. Before the mechanic line of work, I worked in civil engineering for a number of years. Now I have lots of free time to work on the Jeep and build other projects.

I can't afford to break everything on the Jeep, so most of the time I go with my friends and take pictures all day long. I have a lot of pics of my friends Jeeps going over obstacles, but hardly any of mine. I usually take about 200-300 pics a day on the trails. The guys at work always ask to see pics of my Jeep going over the obstacles. I should turn over the camera to someone next trip.

I got a 1973 Super Beetle in December of 08. Working on getting that customized and on the road. Not too much rust and welding. Building a baja body kit out of fiberglass. It should be done by summer.
