Well I bought the car brand new in April of 2004 to get a true 40th anniversary edition car was listed was $30,000 but since the new 2005 model was coming out I got $5000 cash back making the car $25,000 then got another $1500 for using Ford Motor Credit making my fully loaded 2004 $23,500. Then sent it straight to Roush Performance for the heads that was $5000 all the other stuff was probably another $7000 grand total including the hood front facia and paint. Ohhhh and the paint granted I love the RedFire Metallic as I am a HUGE Metallic paint fan. I have it on my 65 Fastback and 69 Bronco, but since the paint is a 3 stage paint, not including the primer they had to lay down a base color then the final color and then the clear coat plus they had blend the paint and clear into all the adjacent panels. So to paint the new Cobra-R Hood and the Roush Front Facia it was $2000...

Nice '69 there! They are my favorite year. You should be congratulated on the work you did at such an early age... great to see younger gearheads keeping the faith!

Hey!! Looks awsome!! My dad and I just sold a 69 Coupe we did a 7 year resto on. I hated to see it go but dad wanted to finish his 69 Plymouth Fury as it is a very rare car according to the VIN. FASTBACKS RULE!!!!

Thank you. A bit of history... This was my first car. Bought at age 13 for $3,000. "finished" at age 19. (I am nearly 20) Thus, one of the youngest carshow participants at every show I attend. I paid for it all and my father and I did EVERYTHING except for the engine.

Thanks for the comments. If you have any questions, feel free to ask :)

My first/dream car 1969 Fastback Mustang

Nearly seven years ago, back in the summer of 2002, I bought my very first car. I sold off my dirt bike and 4-wheeler in order to buy the most beautiful car I had ever seen. At the time, I was looking for a '69 Charger. In the end, I realized that the Charger was my father's dream, not mine. As my father and I shopped around, browsing the pages of the local "Thrifty Nickel" and used auto sales magazines, we happened across this (now) beautiful all-original 1969 Mustang outside a mechanic's shop… Continue

A little update

I haven't been on here in a while, I need to get some more pictures up!

I am in college and very busy with work as well so I don't have a ton of time to get on here.

Some recent news:
I took my baby to the mechanics to solve a "rattling" sound. The torque converter bolts were sticking a bit far out since it is an aftermarket hole-shot torque converter it is definitely not stock! :)

Anyways, they shaved down the ends of the bolts and then put a spacer to pull the starter out away from the flyw… Continue
