you can get adapter plates so that you can still use your tranny. im not sure how much work it will be but i do know installing a cummins in is less headaches and work then other desiel engines. sorry i havent been on in a while to message you back sooner.

i never thought of that. thats a great idea. the main advantage is that you can put your transfer case back further and this allows better driveline angles. Your front one doesn't end up so steep and you can lift your rear one up a little so it doesn't have so much ramping up. It would of saved me a lot of time and money if i would of went that way. when using a divorce tranfer case you can use a 2 wheel drive transmission.
