I agree, no stripes....save those for the chevelles and camaros, and yes save the satin/flat black for the older rods. What color is the interior?

Car info
Here is some info on my Monte. Its an '85 SS with about 80k miles. I bought the car without a motor and tranny. I put a 350ci Chevy in it backed buy a TH350 with a 2500rpm stall converter. The motor has a Edelbrock Torker II, Holley 750, Accel ignition, Summit Racing heads, Comp Cam w/.488/.488 lift, 9.85:1 comp, and Hedman hedders. The car also has 2 1/2" mandril bent dual exhuast, Flowmaster mufflers, Eaton posi, Hurst Quarter stick, and Auto Meter gauges. I also have a 2" taller rear spoiler, and 2" drop spindles. There is also parts on the bench to put on like tubular upper a-arms, and SSBC front brake calipers. I have removed the heater and a/c, and put in two JL Audio 12" subs with a 800 watt amp The car is currently getting new paint. Its going to be a semi-gloss black with red stripes. I like the idea of a 'hot rod' finish.

I HATE BODYWORK!!!
I can just about do anything and everything on my car. But the worst project has been the bodywork. Oil just drips on the floor but dust goes everywhere. EVERYWHERE!
