Ha Mike, Thank You, I am a true Chevy fan, every since my last Fords in high school. My dad liked them, but he told me " Son as long as you drive a Ford walking is a pleasure." I like the 60! Had a friend with one that was a 348, but someone put a mild 409 in her. Ha stay in touch.. I still am learning this pc stuff, and this site is a challenge.

Mike, I did enjoy the car montage. you have alot of creativity. Today I need to jack up the car and check the alignment from the harmonic balancer to the rear end and make certain I cut the hole for the transmission mount centered. there is a vibration on my rearview mirror at speeds over 60. and it not just the mirror. it is every-where my need some frontend work as well. I need to see if I can find what exactly is causing it. talk to you later.

Hi Mike, When we lifted the car I had 8 people on the car itself, and 3 more setting the barrels and the 6x6's, she was pretty heavy but we got it!!! I recomend at least 8, these old cars are built really well. My Dad has a 63 and he put in the aluminum H/P center support cushion & bearing, along with a slip yoke drive shaft, he has no problems with his and he has a pretty stout 355, and a 700r4. This is what i am going to try. You can get those cener supports from Classic Ind. You might want to look into this before you decide to change your frame.
