Matthew,
I have some info for ya... When looking for replacement parts, try Browns of Two Rivers. cooltruckparts.com They have scads of parts and they are of very high quality. Have used them several times with no disapointments! Also... when working on your frame, it all depends on how flashy you want to get. Of course the best is sand blasting and powdercoating. However, i have "restored" several trucks, and the simplies and cheapest is to steam clean the frame to get rid of mud and dirt, then wire brush the frame and use POR-15 paint. Eastwood has a similar product, and i have found a local parts store that handles a paint called Chassis Saver. It does not have to be bare metal...actually the more rust there is, the better it adheres. Let me know if you have any further questions. I am not a complete expert... but i have done quite a few trucks. Talk to you later. Brian
