Well you have a few options.
First off figure out what exactly is rusted though or out. Best way is to use a large screw driver or pic and really hit/ stab the areas with some pressure. If its bad, it will go through.

I re-did my flooring and the trunk flooring, just used stock steel for the trunk and braced it up with 90 degree 1/4 inch thick angle brackets along the tail light pannel, works pretty good and im not going for a 100 point concours correct build, ...
Mine is in some good condition. I need to replace most of the things in the front. But I am able to reuse the hood hinges, the grill, the front bumper, the front lights, the steering system, and that is it. Then I have to replace most of the floor...
I can relate, I got the 67 back in Nov 06 and am just now getting it done. The engine has been built since 04/05.
I probably wont have the thing done and driveable for another year or two, frequent deployments like to interupt the process.

It will be a combination of dark charcoal grey and 2007 Ford tungeston grey with two lemans stripes that dont quite go to the tail or nose. Interior will be black.

Thanks. I won't be doing anything to the car structure so I guess I will have do the measurements after I upgrade the suspension. Awesome project.
