you're more adept at restoration than i, this is my first one. now with the availability of "body in a crate" by dynacorn, getting good sheet metal is a snap (although it attacks the wallet).
as for the '87, she has committed to being involved since it will be her car. i am thinking of building it up the way i want it, then throwing a NASCAR style restricter plate on the carb to keep her out of trouble... she'll be driving it to school her junior year, so she'll be the envy of even the most hardcore high school gearhead.
i'm heavy into the sheet metal on the '87, so things are progressing (even at a snail's pace). i'll throw some pics up as i get things accomplished.
Thanks Joe... I'm getting the itch to start another one. I'm either going to do another 69 or maybe a one off that's a combination 1st and 2nd gen just to do something different this time around
