if you have not had the carb since it was new someone may have changed the jets. if they are to small the adjustments may not be apperant as they where not designed to flow so low and may not adjust low enough to make a difference.

Ha. scare the crap out of some mazdas. love it. i'm hoping to turn it into a gt killer. I've noticed that even though is a common ground for mustang owners. definetly a line between the gt's and the 6ers

my thoughts exactly. but the car has alot of meaning behind it. I curently have cancer and was drivin around a busted up dodge truck. My mom went out and got me a car. Which ended up being a v6 automatic. so i refuse to sell the car. I'm tryin to make the best out of it though. Any recomendations on motor work for it. i've been lookin into the x charger for it.

Hi James,
Yes the spring dose attach to the new section, I am going to put additional support on the inside of the rail, that will go from the end bracket, the new section and the old section.
I was originally going to use the replacemnet frame rail sections that are available. But by using it I'm cutting off about 26 to 30 inches of good rail to fix 4 inches of rot (missing) rail.
What about building a box section for the inside?
Thanks for the suggestions
Brian.
