Here it's all apart. The problem was the magnetic sleeve had fallen apart and the magnets were resting directly on the shaft. I epoxy'd them back into place and cleaned it all up, all is well now.
Hi James, I am Roger, Sly's uncle. We have a 79 camaro and we are looking for parts for it. If you would give me a email or phone number i would like to talk to you about the parts you have.
Thanks, Roger.
I am interested in talking to you. We have some extra parts for 1979 or 1980 Camaro we might be able trade or sell. Please email Sly @ sly.lumpkin@yahoo.com.
The tranny builder is building mine to handle 600hp+. I've also heard that the 700r4 tranny slips in the high rpm range. But, the shop gives a year guarantee so I think its worth a shot
That's basically the same for me. I'm switching from the Victor Jr. to a dual plane rpm airgap. The rpm range starts at 1,500 compared the the 3,000 start point on the Victor Jr. I'm also in the process of replacing my 400 with a 700r4
Thanx for the comment! sweet 2G. third gens dont seem to have the best of reputation out of the camaros but the do make a ton of parts and upgrades you can get plus their cheap! if you need some sites to check out what you can get let me know!...later
