week 6 build

These pic's are of the rear end build the axle housing was shortened by 4" and mini tubs installed. The rear end now sits on competition coil over shocks and a custom panard bar. We are on our way to finishing the custom fab work on the interior.

The begining 2nd week

Well here we are at week two. I've just posted some pic's of when we started this project, the hulk of metal you see is a rusted out trunk, floor pans and a front clip that is literally falling off. The couple of new pictures show the heidt front suspension on. this took a total of three hours to install, just one measurement, 21 and a half inches. and by now you can see the massive intercooler hanging off the nose.

Well, heres the project this year, a 1965 fastback!

I started this project with a totally rusted out junk yard car. I bought around 7 grand worth of sheet metal and went to work. The only thing still original is the firewall and roof. It shows you anything is worth saving! I'll upload some pic's of the hulk when I bought it.

The goal is to have the "Resurection" completed by the fall of 2010.

I'll let everyone know about the monster engine and drivetrain on my next rant.
