I still dont know wich engine to install but I thinking from an old engine to something like you got there maybe Ill go with ls1 but Im not sure if I need to do alot of mechanical stuff to make it work like computer and all those sensor
it will look nice just keep taking step at a time and you will see the result I know because it took me three years to finish my 67 mustang and last month I finish and I can see how it look compare to before
Think about the overall price when you are looking at the engine. GMperformance parts has a crate LS3 that is new, may be able to find something else new from them. See what it would cost with computer etc. Compare that to a LS1 that you may find with 50k or more miles (find out what you need to add to it like computer wireharness, fix anything) may come out better to get new with warranty.
Eliezer, Hey, my camaro book says: 123- 6 cyl., 124- 8 cyl., 37-coupe, 67 conv., the next # on your vin will be the year model, 9, the next letter N means it came from Norwood, CA, L means made in Van Nuys, CA. The last 5 digits is your production number. These are all in sequence on your vin plate I hope this helps. Only the '72's up vins verify Z-28 RS , Type LT , etc. If #'s match u know what u have. That's all I have. See ya.
Hey, Thanks for the invite. I checked out your pics yesterday. Nice job on the cars. Did you paint them yourself? I try and post new pics weekly on this Mustang resto that I have going. Talk to ya later. ~~Ron
