Derek- To answer two of your questions: 1)Don't worry about the weight of the undercoating, it is minimal. 2)Sorry, I am not familiar with the shock tower re-enforcement kits. Talk to ya later ~~Ron

Hey Derek- The undercoating we used is actually Dupli Color Truck Bed Coating.(available at Napa) We wanted a textured coating that would have a semi-gloss finish. Plus it sets up harder than rubberized undercoating. We sprayed it on with a shultz gun. I'm glad to help you out any way I can. Thanks ~~~Ron

Derek-you are all good with your welding plans. You should have no problems at all. The cars I am looking for are Camaros(67-71) Chevelles, GTOs,Mustangs, etc. Cars that I can turn around quickly. But hey all will be considered ~~Ron

Derek, the tower should be fine to mig weld. Just don't grind all the weld down flat. You got any more pics of the other cars? I would be interested in seeing. Bonham? Where is that? I have family in San Antonio. I am trying to line up a trip in the near future to come to TX. and buy up several cars to bring back up to Pa and resell. So let me know if you find any of them deals that are too good to pass up...LOL

Have you tried closing the spring in a vise and securing with wire then? Not sure if you could get it to close up enough. I bet there is a secret squirrel tool from the manufacturer that isnt available to us that puts these things in.

From the mounts I have come across there would either be a rubber or metal body pleg under the car that would have to be removed to gain access to the bolts. Some cars I have even seen studs that were welded to the floorpan somehow and held the se...

From what I have seen you will get a more reliable engine using the 351 if you are dead set on 500+ HP. It would be much easier to get that kind of power out of the larger engine. Believe it or not I have had excellent results from using the 352 a...
