Why dont ya go with a good old cam lifter change for the first thing then intake and carb. Lots off good deals out there check your local speed shops. That should bring either engine to life have done that to many engines in my life.

David it works great.....Its my daily driver has been thew 2 winters with the engine and tranny mods. Have to use good snow tires thow it is a 2 wheel drive with a posi with 373,s..I also have to get up in the same type off weather up here too......
