"Dustin,  I Cleaned the idler tubes inside the bore of my factory carb to fix mine the 1st time.  But when it did it again, I had a carb shop near me strip the pollution junk off my factory carb and rebuilt it too. We can still get away…"

My kid is the coolest!

I walked in to find my 11yo daughter typing away on the computer.  We try to watch where our kids are exploring on the net.  So, I look over her shoulder and see that she is on myPowerblock!  She tells me that she is putting our Jeep in for the Search and Restore show!  How could I say no?After I let her out of a bear hug she finished the application letter and we headed to Dairy Queen!  My kid is soooooo cool!See More

Rusty to Rugged 1

I have never really blogged before so, I guess I'll join the modern age and try it.  This will probably take a while 'cus I can't type any faster then a "hunt and peck" mode.  My daughter says I should enter my Jeep in the Powerblock Makeover contest.  It definitely needs a makeover!  With the help of my friends, I've started my Jeep YJ project that I think I'll call "Rusty to Rugged, Building the Wrescue Wrangler."

I started with what diehard Jeepers shun, an '87 YJ.  OK, it didn't…

thanks. Chris i like that YJ you got glad to here that you doing a good thing with it

a friend of mine is a  F.F. he's a volunteer.

i did all the work on the TJ it's a 2.5 5spd under the hood it has pace setter header,magnaflow,high flow cat. and dyno max muffler. no cold air kit yet

we live in . Wisconsin and they salt the piss out of the roads here so i'll be busy come summer ..couple rust spots needs to be done on it
