Anybody get to make it to the Branson F-100 show? We had over a hundred F-1's and 100's there and gave away a 302 HO donated by the great folks at ARE manufacturing in Denton Texas.
The winner was a young man from down in Oklahoma who is building ...
Thanks Cal. I totally understand the lapse in messaging. Work (especially in this ecomony) takes priority. Not offended at all. I like the photos. I will put your show on my calender for next July. We will keep in touch between the time. I am starting back to working on my truck now and I am shooting for a completion time in April. Wish me luck! Happy Roddin...Talk to you later.
Hey Cal, Steve herefrom South Florida! Good to hear from an "Oval Rodder". I left Minot AFB the 17th of Nov,97 on Terminal leave and the time has moved faster than my wheels! I am working on getting back into the swing of things with $ and wheels! My telephone is: 941-875-9492. I am around most of the time and this fall is work time on wheels as nothing happs in Fl in Summer! It is Hell's kitchen down here so the "outback bodyshop" is closed! Laquer and Enamel doesn't look good with bugs in it! I am working on digging out the 47 Ford Coupe and going for a spin since I found out about 'Grundy Insurance"! Hey I don't Golf except for "Table Golf" they used to call it "Pool"! but I do get a bang out of firing up the old torch and cutting up a few sets of wheels to make one good custom. It is the way life should be! The Fords that slipped through my hands growing up and then traveling around with the USAF are numerous and are always on my mind. I wish I had the 56 ford F-100 and A-Bone 31 coupe! I guess you can't own them all! Are you going to run a straight axel and Y-block? I still like the feeling. I get upset when dudes screw up an F-100 with a GM motor and frame! I am going to start on my 59 F-100 this fall and I hope to tell you it will remain a 100% Ford! So, what are you planing to do with your truck? Hope to hear a good story! Sincerely, Steve.
Hello Cal. Sorry I have not been on for a while. Been sick. I'm doing much better now. I did not make the show. I wish I had known when. I missed the F-100 supernats in knoxville too (wife's birthday). If you have other dates for more effie get-togethers, please feel free to drop me a line. Thanks for sharing. Take Care.
Cal, that is one sweet old ford. That is one of my favorite body styles. Good job on it. The color and rims really set this one off. Thanks for sharing.
