Its a 69 Olds with a Chevy 400sb/383 cu in.625 hp motor 250 NOS

Here is my HotRod I own since 7/85;-I was 15yrs old.I paid $200 for it.Its seen some action in the 23 years plus Ive owned it so far.Its been wrecked 2 dozen times and saw 5-6 paint jobs and 15 different engines.In 2000 I decided to do a little work on it to make it a little more respectable to drive.Now it has a 400 SB Chevy .060"over,Lightweight steel crank 3.48"-fully balanced,Manley Aluminum Rods/14:1 pistons,crank scraper,windage tray,drive gear,Comp Cams solid roller mechanical cam .555/.562lift-4400-8400 rpms w/ hydra rev kit,400sb cast heads-sportsman porting-fully massaged,full roller rockers,stud girdles,Comp Cams hi-tech push rods,lash caps,Edelbrock Torkker2 single plane intake-ported and port matched,800 cfm dual feed carb w/vacuum secs,MSD6btm box,blueprinted HEI dist,Accel HEI supercoil,250shot of NOS w/400 turbo trans kickdown switch for spray activation,Aluminum radiator w/2-14" fans,dual circuit engine oil/trans fluid cooler w/10" fan;350 Turbo trans- 4500 stall converter,trans reprogrammer kit,B&M Quicksilver shifter,12 bolt rear,c-clip eliminators,rear disc brakes,456 gearing,Hotchkiss adjustable uppers and Southside Machine lowers,custom frame work and body stiffeners.
Its not pretty but it runs perfect.Peace

i think the tranny overheated and blew the lines out casing the fluid to catch fire this is what the park ranger thought anyways. i do not agree though due to the fact the the smoke started from the rear of the vehicle which is where the fire started. i will let you know more when i get the investigation reports back from the insurance company

yea thanks man i found that but now mitsubishi told me it would cost me 275.00 to have one programed for the truck they are telling me just anyone wont work??but thanks alot man.

very nice olds my dad had a 69 but my mother sold it after my father died. I was 11yrs when I stole the keys and took it around the block. I love it and maybe some day I will have one again.
