USMC - Together We Served

The pics show what we started with and what it looks like now. There is still much to be done. Its looking like this car will be road worthy by spring of 2009. Not bad concedering we started in 2003 and we only worked on it on the weekends, Totaling all the work hours we would have about 6 months of 40 hr weeks into it so far. The cars specs. 1)engine and trans 454 chevy boared 30 over milled heads with a comp cam. holly street dominator intake w/holly 750 carb, a 400 turbo trans w/2300 stall converter 2)Breaks and suspension 4 wheel disc breaks wilwood 4 piston disc on the front and stock disc on the rear. 9 inch ford rear end with a 4 link suspension coil over shocks from comp engioneering new shocks and heavy duty springs on the front with a rack and pinion conversion from unisteer. 3)Interior leather high back buckets from a 98 pontiac grand prix custom hand made fiberglass instrument cluster custom trim paint. still to build is the custom console and back seat.
The car also has a 21 circuit painless wiring harness with the new type fuses the rear had to be tubed to accomidate the huge cooper cobras and crager ss rims. Total build cost to date is just over $13000. Not to bad concedering he only paid $250 for the car. The car belongs to my Cousin and hes out to show all those who told him it couldnt be done. And that the car was to far gone or he just couldnt do it. Im proud to have helped him build this car and cant wait till its painted. Ill post more pics as it goes

Brent,
saw your note about your 67 Mustang restoration - I also have a 67 Mustang - it's an original GTA/390 with C-6. It needed extensive restoration but it's completely redone today.
Have fun with your project, I'll be in AFG for the next year+.

Carl
