brendan, just do a search and look around, i know there are companies that will send you a variety of tubes and hardware that you use to make your own cold air system and you can send back the stuff you don't use ! i think i saw it on horsepower or muscle car.

that a boy, your first one is the learner, after a while with that then move on. my first car was a 62 chevy biscayne 6cyl. 3sp. that i shared with my dad,i learned alot about cars with that thing and i have had 43 cars since! my best advice to you is to learn ody and paint because thats the most expensive to pay somebody to do, the mechanical stuff can be also but it came natural to me.i've had collector cars, drag cars and mucsle cars but my T is the first street rod i've built and i'm gonna be 50, soyou got plenty of time! good luck kid!

You could run wires to a toggle on/off switch and then run another set of wired off to the pump. I esentially did this with my battery because of an unknown "drain" However, don't run your fuel pump dry - you will have to replace it, and nobody wants to do that.

Hope this helps

Hey don't worry about money yet. You have the car!

It all does take time and money. Just do what you can. Try and find odd jobs to do. where you are only 13 this may be hard to do. However, as lame and cliche as it may sound, i started out with mowing lawns. This is a good way for you to get some money and get on track. Also when you buy parts, try checking eBay first. I bought a lot of parts off eBay that were much cheaper than buying from magazines and the SAME products.

I found a 2-core aluminum Radiator for my car for $187 on eBay. Most of the restoration catalogs and even aftermarket ones were a minimum of $250 for the same type of radiator.

Check out cjponyparts.com and request a free catalog for your years. This will help you get some ideas and your dreams run wilder.

Obviously, the paint on my car is custom - I came up with the design on my own. And not 2 days after I drew it up and colored it for my dad, Chip Foose did almost the exact same thing on another car. (Not a Mustang of course!)

And the stripe is a modification of the 1970 Boss 302 stripe too. I figured I wanted to make it my own car - so why not make it what I want :)

Keep me posted!

Impersonating a officer ya you'll def get arrested. We are not impersonating an officer, this is a real life ghost buster style vehicle with infared cameras and its all legit, we do not run lights in traffic or in view of. Covered 99 percent of the time, you can run anything you want but it has to be for off-road use only, like parades, car shows, like strobes on a mustang - not in traffic. If seen in use on a public road you could get fined. The local police and state police all know of us and te site plus we have legit EMT unit durango with us and its all by the book. Our Dodge isnt a dressed up ride for fun, we have been attacked and if we get hurt the EMT's have the permission to use my truck or theres in an emergancy route to a hospital - plus there also Vol. Firefighters.
