Okay so I drove to London, Ontario and bought the 1990 4 runner. It has 178,000 original kms on it. It runs like a top and drives well also. The engine you can eat off of it. The guy keep it up extremely well. I am going to Toronto to purchase 31/...
Decided to wait a bit. The gear change made a HUGE difference in the power and gas mileage of my toy. I thanks you for all your comments. I will wait and see next year, about chipping it.

Gear Question??
I own a 2003 Toyota Tacoma TRD 4x4. I installed a Fabtech 6" lift kit along with a Performance Products 3" body lift, and then placed 35" Baja Claw Radials on 16x8 rims. I have also installed a Gibson exhaust system along with a AEM air system under the hood. I now would like to put gears in my toy, due to the lack of power(lost with bigger tires). I would like to get it back to stock speed, or a bit more. I was thinking 4:11/4:88?? Any suggestions for me.
