Thank you very much for the kind words and great offer!
It's true what you said about greed, but I'm pretty much over being bumbed about losing it again but life goes on.
Thanks again and have a Great New Year!

Yes when it's warm you want it to be THICK cuz the heat will thin it on it's own.
so for winter run 5w/30 then make a mix of 10w/40 notice the 40 it's for the warm
temp to stay thicker to protect I use a qt of 20w/50 mixed too. The STP is the standard
STP it's ok for winter and summer , Remember the 2nd # like the 40 is for warm weather
the higher the # the thicker it is. Good Luck Pat~

Hey Pat,
Our Sub has a factory stock 496. Everything is completely stock, loaded with almost every option possible except for sunroof and all wheel steering. As for 93 octane, no we haven't tried it since usually computer chips are set to run at specified ratings and I didn't know what running a higher level octane would do to operating temperature etc. Would you recommend trying a synthetic oil since it is due for an oil change? Thanks for any recommendations.
