tranny decision

I have a 3/4 ton chevy one pictured on my profile it has a SBC 400 and i am trying to figure out what tranny to put in it i have a Turbo 350 short shaft or turbo 400 long shaft which one would work better for the combination?

Help Pontiac Hell

I am working on getting my 1970 Pontiac Lemans rear bumper off if any one has anything i keep finding random bolts all over the place digrams would help or some detailed instructions.

Help mystery FORD motor

I have this motor that a guy wants me to build for him and he does not know what it is and i cant seem to figure it out either if you have anything that might help ley me know. thanks here are the numbers that were listened behind the stater the very last was on the lip right below that i will put them in oprder from top to bottom.

I need help

I have a 1972 Chevy c20 with a SBC 400 that i rebuilt well my problem is that when i go over 35 miles an hour it starts leaking from the bottom of the timing chain cover i took it all apart and replaced the timing chain cover and gaskets and RTV went and took it out for a spin and it did the same thing agian.

PLEASE anything you have that might help hit me up

Hi Alex, Do you have oil vents in you valve covers? If you dont, you will have to have some to vent the crank case. At speed your engine is building pressure in the crank case and forcing oil out the crank seal. If your valve covers dont have filters, you can ourchase them from Jegs or Summit. Easy fix. I had the same problem once with custom valve covers that had no way to vent the pressure. Hope that helps......Smitty
